"New Melody Everyday of the Year" (116).
Kūko, kūko dzeguzīte (R. Pauls). V. Ushakov, N. Ovchinnikov, S. Stavitskaya
Musicians have always faced a difficult choice – what to play if the entire program of the concert already performed, and the audience doesn't let go. A good option is popular in a given place (country, city) tune! Latvian composer Raimonds Pauls wrote the melody for the song "Sing, cuckoo" which became very popular in Latvia. The melody of the song "Kūko, kūko dzeguzīte" by R. Pauls sounds as an encore performed by the trio Svetlana Stavitskaya, Nikolai Ovchinnikov and Vladimir Ushakov (Limbazhi, Latvia, 2015).
